WCA Factory Audit is a set of social responsibility audit standards developed by ITS (Intertek). The full name is Workplace Conditions Assessment (WCA), launched in 2010.
The WCA audit is mainly carried out by ITS, an auditing company. Some brand customers do not have their own social responsibility standards, so they adopt third‑party standards. WCA is one of the widely accepted third‑party social responsibility audit standards.
By implementing the WCA standard, brands and factories can improve their overall workplace conditions, helping ensure the confidence and satisfaction of customers and other stakeholders.
The WCA standard is not membership‑based. Neither brands nor factories are required to join as members.
